This page explains what happens to your information when you use daytasolutionstech.com. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
The short version
- The free tools run entirely on your own computer. Your files are never sent to us.
- If you use the assistant, what you type is sent to an AI provider to produce an answer.
- If you give us your email for the waitlist or the contact form, we use it to reply to you and nothing else.
- We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising trackers.
Who we are
Daytasolutions Technologies Ltd, based in Lagos, Nigeria. You can reach us at info@daytasolutionstech.com or on WhatsApp at +234 807 646 6728, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm West Africa Time (GMT+1). For anything about your data, email us and put “Privacy” in the subject line.
The free tools
The 25 tools on our tools page — merging PDFs, resizing pictures, reading text out of a scan, and the rest — run inside your web browser. Your file is opened by your own computer, changed by your own computer, and saved by your own computer. It is never uploaded to us, and we never see it. There is nothing for us to store or delete because nothing ever arrives.
The one-off download the OCR tools make on first use is the recognition engine coming to you. Nothing goes the other way.
The assistant
The chat assistant is different, and it is worth being plain about it. When you send it a message, that message and the ones before it in the conversation are sent to our server and on to OpenRouter, which passes it to an AI model to write a reply. That means your message leaves your computer and is processed outside Nigeria.
Please do not type anything confidential into it — no passwords, bank details, medical information, or anything covered by an agreement you have signed with someone else. It is there to answer questions about this company and this website.
We do not keep a copy of your conversation. It lives in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. OpenRouter and the model provider handle the message under their own terms, which you can read at openrouter.ai/privacy.
The waitlist and the contact form
If you ask to be told when one of the Pro tools is ready, we store your email address, which tool you asked about, and the date. We use it once: to tell you when that tool works. If you contact us through the form, we use what you send to reply to you.
We keep these until they are no longer needed, or until you ask us to remove them — whichever comes first. We do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
Payments
The paid tools are not live yet. When they are, payments will be handled by Paystack, and your card details will go straight to them. We will never see or store your card number.
Cookies and what is stored on your device
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site does keep a couple of small things in your own browser, which never reach us:
- Whether you chose the light or dark theme, and where you dragged the theme switch.
- The OCR engine, cached so it does not download twice.
Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
Who else is involved
- Vercel — hosts the website and, like any web host, records requests including IP addresses in its logs.
- OpenRouter — passes assistant messages to an AI model.
- Paystack — will process payments once the paid tools launch.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and under the UK and EU GDPR if you are covered by them, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to us using it. Email us and we will do it. We will not charge you and we will not make it difficult.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
